Five kids and a camera

Today was my mom’s birthday.  My uncle (her brother) and I conspired together to get her a camera.  She was thrilled.  😀

We were at the Y for a dance recital. Rebekah learned a lyrical solo in *July*, and hasn’t had a lesson with it since. She performed it tonight, and remembered most of it! I was so proud of her.

    I love that you captured my surprised face….hate the face, but love that you caught it. There’s no doubt I was surprised. I look like Jimmy Stewart in “It’s a Wonderful Life!” And, it is.

    Mom makes me laugh.

    Becky actually makes me tear up….. her solo is beautiful, and I’m so proud of her for remembering, and being brave enough to be up there in front of everybody, when it’s not in her nature. Brave, smart, talented girl. 🙂
